Sales Support Specialist - Process Power Manager

Sales Support Specialist supporting Process Power in ABB’s Process Automation for Energy Industries, based onsite in Bangalore. Responsible for evaluating and applying standard techniques to perform engineering assignments, performing testing, installation and commissioning activities, and preparing project documentation. Assists in preparing proposals/presentations of engineering projects (including Bills of Materials and estimated engineering hours), supports change management with the Contract Manager, and creates work plans and cost estimates. Reviews scope, budget and schedule to ensure quality deliverables on time and within cost. Conducts risk/opportunity assessments for Power Management System work, implements resulting actions, and assists customers on technical issues while liaising with suppliers and the Supply Chain. Shares engineering best practices across projects and disciplines, and contributes to delivering Digital Solutions and PMS-related capabilities (e.g., CMS, Asset Reliability & Integrity, Predictive/Prescriptive Analysis). The role emphasizes hands-on electrical/automation experience, familiarity with PMS-related protocols (IEC61850, GOOSE, Modbus, etc.), and collaboration with multiple stakeholders to achieve winning orders.
