Job Summary
Sales Support Representative for Ferguson Waterworks division who collaborates with Sales associates to determine best product solutions, delivers personalized customer service through timely quotations and accurate sales orders, coordinates deliveries, and handles sales calls. Role involves training and work across the warehouse, pipe yard, and sales counter with opportunities to perform administrative duties; requires CRM/system proficiency, customer-focused communication, and the ability to build relationships in a fast-paced environment. Qualifications include 1-3 years in sales or customer service (construction/Waterworks a plus), physically demanding work, and a college or bachelor’s degree. The role supports a Monday–Friday schedule (7:00 AM–4:00 PM) with emphasis on cross-functional collaboration and responsive customer service.
Required Qualifications
- 1-3 years of sales and/or customer service experience is preferred
- Experience in Waterworks or Construction is a plus
- Must be comfortable performing physically demanding work
- Ability to transition between warehouse, yard, counter, and administrative duties as needed
- Exhibit strong skills for sales, including the ability to upsell
- College or Bachelor’s degree
- General digital literacy including Microsoft Office
- Ability to quickly learn product knowledge and processes
