Sales Support Manager (German-speaking)

Job Summary
Lead and develop a high-performing Sales Support team of around 30 German-speaking professionals in Warsaw, driving ownership, accountability and customer focus. Oversee day-to-day execution of transactional and commercial support, ensure delivery against KPIs and SLAs, coach team members to improve capability and impact, and drive continuous improvement, process adherence and operational excellence across Sales, Customer Success, Pricing, Product, and Operations. Partner with stakeholders across functions and geographies to deliver high-quality service, scale the new Warsaw team, and lead change initiatives to transform Sales Support delivery in a global logistics context. Fluent German and English required; proven experience managing large teams in sales support/shared services; background in logistics or global trade; strong KPI/SLAs management and stakeholder collaboration; proactive leadership with a track record of process optimisation and change management.
Required Qualifications
- Fluent German and English (mandatory)
- Proven experience leading large teams in a sales support, customer operations, customer success, shared services, or similar environment
- Experience in logistics, supply chain, transport, shipping, or global trade
- Strong track record of managing performance through KPIs, SLAs, coaching, and operational discipline
- Experience working across multiple stakeholders and functions in a matrix environment
- Ability to lead through change, ambiguity, and transformation
- Strong commercial awareness and customer-centric mindset
- Experience driving continuous improvement, quality, and process optimisation
- Confidence, credibility, and presence to work effectively with senior stakeholders
- A proactive, energetic leadership style with a strong sense of ownership
- Nice to have Exposure to GSC / SSC / BPO environments
- Experience building or stabilising teams during transitions or organisational change
