Job Summary
Role Statement: Support Outside Sales members by managing the sales process, preparing, and coordinating all quotes and sales orders to provide an exceptional customer experience. Outcomes include providing direct support to sales reps, processing quotes, purchase orders, tickets, and changes per guidelines, building strong customer relationships, verifying costs with vendors for special-order products, handling delivery scheduling and in-store pickups, and assisting with customer challenges such as credits, returns, and exchanges. Requires working knowledge of all products, blueprint reading, and basic construction methods; proficiency with Microsoft Office and POS systems. On-site at TAL Building Centers store in Missoula, MT; remote work is not available. Required Qualifications
- Minimum education of High School or equivalent
- A minimum of three years of professional experience in customer service and order entry, ideally in a high-volume, fast-paced setting
- Must be able to work as a team and communicate effectively
- Proven ability to multitask effectively and manage a large volume of detailed work while consistently producing accurate results
- Must have knowledge of blueprint reading
- Proficient with Microsoft Office tools and Point of Sale Programs
