Job Summary
Sales Support Analyst 1 supports Auto Club Group sales/club delivery systems through input, analysis, and maintenance of agent pay/issues and club services. The role analyzes data, maintains reports for management information, responds to customer inquiries, documents problems, and collaborates with Payroll, General Counsel, and other departments to support field/club operations. The position emphasizes data analysis, reporting, process documentation, and strong written communication, with responsibilities spanning agent commissions, recognition programs, ticket inventories, and training material development. The job is described as a hybrid in-office/remote arrangement with potential in-office requirements set by leadership, and offers a salary range of $24-$28 per hour plus bonuses, benefits, and a market-driven compensation philosophy.
Required Qualifications
- College level coursework in Business Administration, Computer Science, Marketing, Communications or a related field, or related work experience in a customer service or business administration environment.
- Experience with PC software applications (e.g. Excel, Word, Access, Callidus, PeopleSoft, etc.)
- Database record maintenance and reporting
- Navigating multiple sources of information and applying information as needed
- Investigating problems and providing information and timely follow-up to customer/client
- Preparation and presentation of materials
- Analyzing, interpreting and summarizing technical information
- Performing basic mathematical calculations including statistics
- Serving as a team member on projects
- Developing and analyzing system generated reports and data relating to various sales support functions
- Responding to customer service helpline/telephone inquiries/e-mail requests
- Developing and documenting standards, methods and procedures
- Working in a team environment and communicating effectively with others
- Working independently and setting appropriate priorities to meet deadlines
- Strong writing skills for report/technical writing (A writing sample may be required at time of interview)
