Job Summary
Follow up with customers on open proposals, quotations, and active sales opportunities to drive successful closes. Support assigned Outside Sales Engineers with day-to-day activities, customer needs, and opportunity development by building strong relationships through consistent communication. Prepare quotations based on customer requirements and equipment selections, then advise clients on appropriate application and system choices. Maintain and update sales opportunities in the Sales Tracker, including proposal status and next steps. Use manufacturer and supplier software to configure equipment, assist with system design, and support booking package preparation once opportunities convert to orders. Collaborate with internal teams and suppliers throughout the sales process while providing technical product support and assisting with submittal documentation.
Required Qualifications
- 2–4 years of experience in sales, manufacturing, engineering, HVAC, or a related technical environment
- Strong customer service and relationship-building skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Sales-minded with the ability to effectively follow up on opportunities and customer needs
- Ability to manage multiple quotations, opportunities, and priorities simultaneously
- Strong computer skills and ability to learn manufacturer and supplier software
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment
- Self-motivated with strong follow-through and a sense of ownership

- NetSuite experience
