Job Summary
Sales Sr. responsible for servicing specific accounts and assigned geographic territory for Toshiba, aiming to generate new and continued product sales while communicating technical aspects of products and customer specifications. Responsibilities include sales and field support of forecasted products, conducting area training for customers, maintaining technical expertise to train and solve problems, coordinating field training with factory personnel, making sales calls to grow TIC business, providing ongoing service before/after order entry, attending industry conventions and staying abreast of trends, maximizing time with customers and buying influences, contributing to monthly/annual forecasts, and meeting or exceeding sales targets. Travel 40–60% to customer sites, refineries, partner locations, and internal coordination. Requires 10+ years in industrial sales or related fields, experience with motors, drives, controls, MV equipment, and strong communication with engineers and procurement teams. Bachelor’s degree in Engineering required; MBA or equivalent business education preferred. Location: Houston, TX.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, or related field)
- 10+ years of experience in industrial sales, business development, or strategic account management
- Proven ability to manage large, complex end-user accounts (oil & gas, refining, utilities, or heavy industry strongly preferred)
- Experience with motors, drives, controls, or power systems markets
- MBA or equivalent business education preferred
