Job Summary
Sales Specialist to drive adoption of NetApp’s Intelligent Data Infrastructure Insights (DII) and Data Services (DS) in State & Local Gov/Federal space. Own the full sales cycle from identifying opportunities and engaging key decision makers to delivering compelling solution presentations and closing complex deals. Build and manage a robust sales pipeline, lead customer meetings (remote and on-site), develop tailored proposals, and collaborate with partners and internal teams to expand NetApp’s footprint in enterprise accounts. Emphasizes consultative solution selling, ROI/POC development, and cross-functional teamwork across Sales Engineering, Product, Legal, Marketing, and Operations to ensure customer success.
Required Qualifications
- 7–10 years enterprise sales experience (Cloud, AI Ops, or Data Infrastructure) with a bachelor’s degree or equivalent
- Proven success managing complex sales cycles and closing large deals
- Strong understanding of infrastructure, hybrid cloud, and data protection technologies
- Experience collaborating with hyperscalers and strategic partners
- Excellent verbal and written communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
