Job Summary
Drive sales of ABB residential electrification products, systems, and services to achieve volume, mix, profitability, and growth targets within the residential construction market. Develop and maintain relationships with distributors, wholesalers, electrical contractors, builders, developers, and property managers to generate specification opportunities and close new business. Create and execute territory sales strategies using CRM systems to manage activities and opportunities. Maintain an accurate sales pipeline, forecast, and implement recovery plans to address performance gaps. Deliver value-driven proposals, quotations, and contracts while ensuring compliance with technical, financial, and contractual requirements. Provide exceptional customer experience throughout the sales cycle and support marketing initiatives to monitor market trends and inform strategy. Serve as a trusted advisor applying technical expertise in residential electrical products.
Required Qualifications
- 3-5 years of sales experience in the electrical, construction, or related industry
- Strong technical knowledge of residential electrical products and applications
- Proven success selling through distribution and contractor channels and developing new business opportunities
- Demonstrated ability to develop sales strategies, manage a territory, and achieve business growth objectives
- Strong CRM, account management, forecasting, planning, and business development capabilities
- Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, organizational, and relationship-building skills
- Effective collaborator who works cross-functionally with sales, marketing, product management, operations, and service teams to achieve business objectives
- Self-motivated team player who promotes knowledge sharing, accountability, teamwork, and cross-functional collaboration while delivering individual and team results
