Job Summary
Senior Sales Associate role on the Pet Care Center floor focusing on delivering knowledgeable, compassionate service to pets and pet parents, mentoring new and junior associates, and supporting store operations. You’ll lead by example with strong selling behaviors, educate customers on promotions and loyalty programs, assist with merchandising, inventory, and opening/closing procedures, and help resolve customer concerns while maintaining a welcoming, safe environment. The role emphasizes customer experience, teamwork, and adapting to a fast-paced retail setting dedicated to pets.
Required Qualifications
- 1+ years of retail experience preferred
- passion for animals and knowledge of pet care preferred
- strong communication and customer service skills
- ability to multitask in fast-paced environment
- basic math skills and experience handling cash/transactions
- ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- flexible availability including evenings, weekends, holidays
