Job Summary
Sales Specialist role in a part-time, high-energy Ace Hardware environment. Provide exceptional customer service, generate sales, share product knowledge, and support daily store priorities. Responsibilities include greeting and assisting customers, guiding product selection, promoting promotions, stocking and merchandising, executing planograms and price changes, processing shipments, training peers in specialty skills, operating POS procedures, and maintaining cleanliness and safety. Opportunities to specialize across multiple hardware categories (e.g., Key Cutting, Outdoor Power Tools, Electrical, Plumbing, Small Engine Repair, etc.). Requires a high level of customer service, teamwork, strong communication, and the ability to lift 40-80 pounds as part of daily responsibilities. Minimum education: High School degree; prior retail/sales experience and knowledge of hardware categories strongly preferred. Must be flexible to work part-time including weekday shifts, evenings, weekends, and holidays. Benefits include extensive on-the-job training and badges earned annually.
