Job Summary
The Histology Consumables Sales Specialist develops and implements clear sales strategies to rapidly increase laboratory consumables revenue and expand market share in New England (territory includes Boston, MA; RI; NH; ME; VT). Collaborates with Sales, Applications, and Service teams to meet annual targets, maintain accurate opportunity data in SFDC, and deliver exceptional customer service. Responsibilities include coordinating product demos, installs, and customer training with support from management, expanding Leica Biosystems' influence across territories, monitoring competitive activities, and utilizing tools such as DBS, LBS Tools (DOMO, Showpad, Territory Business Reviews). Essential qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years of experience or a Master’s degree with 3+ years, strong time management, proven contract negotiation and high-level selling experience, CRM proficiency, and willingness to travel (50-75%). The role offers a remote work arrangement eligibility and a salary range of $100,000–$120,000 with bonus opportunities and a comprehensive benefits package.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor Degree with 5+ years of experience or Masters Degree with 3+ years of experience
- Proven time management skills
- Proven contract negotiation and high-level selling experience or selling in a matrixed environment
- Experience with Salesforce.com or other CRM software; Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- Travel, 50-75%
- Must Possess a valid Driver’s license; ability to travel overnight
