Job Summary

Sales Specialist for PerkinElmer's Perten and Delta laboratory instrumentation in the Food Quality and Performance Testing segment across the Western US. Drive growth by hunting for new customers and nurturing existing accounts; manage territory, establish relationships with food processors and testing labs, and close deals to meet territory sales quota. Develop technical knowledge of the portfolio (including near-infrared, process NIR, rheology) and deliver seminars/presentations; maintain a healthy sales funnel, provide accurate forecasts, and travel up to 50% with overnight stays. Requires a Bachelor's Degree and 2+ years of sales experience in capital equipment for food customers; strong written and verbal communication, customer service, and ability to learn new systems.
