Job Summary
Sales specialist in Daejeon responsible for growing sales volume, managing existing accounts, identifying new targeted accounts, and participating in trade shows. Develop and implement business plans for product lines, maintain time and territory management, present technical information, identify customer needs and trends, promote PerkinElmer support services, provide information on techniques and products, manage inquiries through CRM and opportunity funnel, forecast weekly progress, and collaborate with internal teams to deliver tailored solutions. Build and cultivate partnerships with customers and other suppliers, lead marketing/promotional activities to increase product awareness, and provide timely reporting of sales progress and market trends. The role requires maintaining technical selling capability to function in a consultative capacity, working with regional sales teams, service teams, product specialists, and business units, and supporting planned customer events. Qualifications include a bachelor’s degree (or equivalent), 5+ years in lab/analytical sales, strong multitasking, interpersonal and communication skills, proficiency with Microsoft Office, and familiarity with SAP; the candidate should be a team player who can work independently and remotely not applicable here.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
- Minimum 5 years of experiences in laboratory technical support, industry and analytical sales experience preferred
- Able to multitask and follow-through with customers by organizing well on daily jobs
- Good interpersonal and relationship-building skills
- Good persuasion skills and aptitude for communication
- Good knowledge in Microsoft Office applications
- Hands on SAP will be added advantage
- A team player and able to work independently with minimum supervision
