Job Summary
Sales Specialist role focusing on driving occupancy and revenue for Cedarhurst Senior Living communities. Responsible for outside marketing to increase professional referrals, developing and executing sound sales and marketing plans in assigned communities or regions, advancing leads through the sales process, and coordinating moves of residents. Supports Regional Sales Directors/Area Sales Managers in onboarding and training other sales-oriented roles; manages database of planned activities and lead responses to maximize occupancy. Works with VP/Regional Directors and Executive Directors to develop creative programs, maintain referral networks, and ensure timely follow-up and next steps. Requires 90% travel within an assigned region, including evenings, weekends, and overnight travel. Bachelor's degree strongly preferred with 2-5 years of sales experience, demonstrated closing skills, and proficiency with common digital tools; CPR/BLS certification preferred. Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree strongly preferred
- Two or more years of successful sales experience (2-5 years preferred)
- Demonstrated sales closing skills
- CPR or BLS certification preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word) and web-based platforms
- Experience in senior living or related industry preferred
- Ability to travel frequently (local and overnight)
