Job Summary
Sales representative for Rakuten Connect SmaCom in Tokyo. Responsibilities include making proposals in response to inquiries from various advertising media (web, social media, TV, flyers), direct sales and referrals within Rakuten Group (no cold calling), and balancing web conferences (60%) with on-site visits (40%). Identify customer challenges and motivations, propose optimal IT/telecom solutions, and identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities. Work environment emphasizes a flat structure with a diverse, young-to-mid-career team; location is Tokyo Futako-Tamagawa Rise Office. English proficiency required (TOEIC 800 or equivalent). Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in corporate sales
- Experience in IT solution sales (B2B)
- Experience in proposing intangible IT-related products or services
- Experience in telecommunications (fixed-line/mobile)
- Experience in marketing or advertising
- Experience in agency/partner sales
- English proficiency: TOEIC 800 or higher or equivalent
