Job Summary
Sales & Service Representative responsible for delivering B2B customer service through the order process of pipe, valves, and fitting products (PVF). Create and enter quotes, process customer orders, resolve issues, identify and pursue sales opportunities, and use MRC Global systems to generate quotes, locate products, issue vendor purchase orders, and manage the full order lifecycle. Ensure compliance with pricing, AML and customer specifications, monitor on-time delivery, communicate status to customers, and provide proactive solutions to maximize customer value and company profitability. Requires 1+ year of customer-facing/inside sales experience or post-secondary education (Technical/Trade School, associate or bachelor’s degree) and a valid driver’s license. Strong computer and communication skills, and ability to work in a desk-based environment with frequent interaction with customers, suppliers, and colleagues.
Required Qualifications
- 1+ years of experience in a dedicated customer-facing role, inside sales, and/or warehouse services
- OR recent completion of post-secondary education including Technical/Trade School, associate degree, bachelor’s degree
- valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record at all times
