Job Summary
Sales & Service Manager leads the store’s guest experience and sales strategy as part of the store leadership team. Responsible for investigating and addressing sales opportunities, coaching and developing the Sales & Service team, maintaining effective floor coverage, and partnering with the General Manager to implement the Sales & Service strategy. Focuses on building client relationships, monitoring budget and business data, and planning for quarterly reviews and sales planning. Requires constant movement around the store, leadership in scheduling, and safeguarding store operations. Demonstrates strong communication, multitasking, accountability, and alignment with ALO’s guiding principles. Physical requirements include lifting up to 50 pounds and standing/moving for an entire shift. Full-time role with availability for opening, closing, and weekend shifts, plus participation in the annual blackout period during the holiday season.
Required Qualifications
- 3-5 years of retail or related industry leadership experience
- Working knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel and Outlook)
- Extraordinary interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written
- Agile with the ability to handle multiple tasks in a changing environment
- Independent work ethic, time management skills, and personal accountability
- Requires constant movement in and around all areas of the store
- Aligns with and embodies ALO’s Guiding Principles
- Ability to lift, push, carry or otherwise move up to 50 pounds
- Ability to lift, bend, kneel, climb, crawl and/or twist, and safely climb up/down a ladder
- Ability to stand and move for an entire shift
- Sales & Service Manager Schedule: To build a balanced schedule that supports the needs of the business and our teams, we expect all full-time employees to be available for opening, closing and weekend shifts. All employees without exception are expected to be able to work during the company’s Blackout period, from the week of American Thanksgiving through the end of the holiday season
