Job Summary
Sales & Service Manager at ALO who leads the store's Sales & Service and People Leader functions to drive guest experience and sales. Responsible for developing and executing sales strategies, coaching and developing the Sales & Service team, optimizing staffing and scheduling, monitoring budgets and business metrics (e.g., expenses, sell-thru), and ensuring operational efficiency. Must actively manage guest interactions, educate customers on products, partner with the General Manager on planning and reporting, oversee talent development, build cross-functional collaboration, and maintain a shop-floor presence to uphold ALO’s mission and brand culture. Requires 3-5 years of retail leadership, strong communication, multi-tasking, ability to lift up to 50 pounds, and full-time availability including peak holiday periods.
Required Qualifications
- 3-5 years of retail or related industry leadership experience
- Working knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel and Outlook)
- Extraordinary interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written
- Agile with the ability to handle multiple tasks in a changing environment
- Independent work ethic, time management skills, and personal accountability
- Requires constant movement in and around all areas of the store
- Aligns with and embodies ALO’s Guiding Principles
- Ability to lift, push, carry or otherwise move up to 50 pounds
- Ability to lift, bend, kneel, climb, crawl and/or twist, and safely climb up/down a ladder
- Ability to stand and move for an entire shift
