Job Summary
The Sales & Service Manager leads the in-store guest experience and sales strategy as part of the store leadership team. Responsibilities include investigating and addressing sales opportunities with the General Manager, overseeing the Sales & Service team to deliver exceptional guest interaction and product education, building and executing the Sales & Service strategy, managing budgets and dashboards (e.g., Expenses, Sell-Thru), scheduling and workforce planning, coaching and developing Talent, and collaborating cross-functionally to ensure operational efficiency and brand alignment. The role requires constant movement through the store, strong communication, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds, with full-time availability for opening/closing and weekend shifts. Qualifications emphasize 3-5 years of retail leadership, MS Office proficiency, strong interpersonal skills, multitasking in a dynamic environment, accountability, and alignment with ALO’s Guiding Principles.
Required Qualifications
- 3-5 years of retail or related industry leadership experience
- Working knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel and Outlook)
- Extraordinary interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written
- Agile with the ability to handle multiple tasks in a changing environment
- Independent work ethic, time management skills, and personal accountability
- Requires constant movement in and around all areas of the store
- Ability to lift, push, carry or otherwise move up to 50 pounds
- Ability to lift, bend, kneel, climb, crawl and/or twist, and safely climb up/down a ladder
- Ability to stand and move for an entire shift
- Full-Time employment status in practice
