Job Summary
Examine and grade donated goods to sell in retail stores while processing items in an accelerated manner to meet production goals. Greet every guest, deliver the brand experience, and suggest additional treasures to support a guest-friendly culture. Effectively transition product to the sales floor, execute visual merchandising strategies, and recommend merchandise to round up transactions. Handle point of sale transactions, solve problems, and communicate with management, peers, and guests. Maintain a neat, clean, and organized work area while adhering to safety and security practices. Complete all required trainings and meetings, perform other duties as assigned, and meet physical requirements including lifting up to 30lbs.
Required Qualifications
- Must have good oral and written communication skills in English
- Must be able to work independently as well as in a team environment
- Must be able to meet all physical requirements to perform the duties of the position including the ability to bend, reach, grasp, stand and/or walk for extended periods of time as well as the ability to push, pull and lift up to 30lbs with or without accommodation
- Must start employment in acceptable safety work shoes
- Must be able to work in all types of conditions including heat, cold and dust
- Must be 18 years or older to become certified and licensed to operate a forklift
Desired Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED preferred
- Basic math skills
- Detail oriented with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to demonstrate sound judgement
