Job Summary
Sales & Service Consultant at A1 Garage Door blends consultative sales with hands-on mechanical work. You’ll meet homeowners on service calls, explain options, and close repair or upgrade sales, then perform the repair yourself (no garage door experience required—training provided). Responsibilities include selling, repairing springs/rollers/motors, installing keypads and wiring, lubricating and testing equipment, and delivering an outstanding customer experience while collecting payments. The role offers uncapped commissions with first-year earnings typically 90K–150K+, a company vehicle, paid training (6 weeks with 2 weeks in-market and 4 weeks at the Phoenix, AZ Training Academy), paid time off, weekly pay, medical/dental/vision and 401k, and opportunities for advancement. Qualifications emphasize a valid driver’s license, ability to lift 75 lbs, passing a background check and drug test, basic tech comfort, and at least 1 year in consultative sales. The position operates 7 days a week and includes hands-on, physical work in customer-home environments.
Required Qualifications
