Job Summary
Sales & Service Advisor duties include selling and promoting automotive services and products, greeting customers, documenting concerns, inspecting vehicle history, and identifying service needs. You will recommend services, provide accurate quotes with cost and completion time, update customers on service status, and clearly communicate additional recommendations from the Automotive Technician. The role requires promoting services, parts, and accessories, handling cash-out procedures, and following up after repairs. You will track returns and warranty parts, adhere to company policies, and demonstrate a professional, process-driven approach to customer service and sales. Automotive industry knowledge, ability to upsell appropriately, and maintaining accurate customer records are essential.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Possess State Inspector License or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire date
- ASE Certified Service Consultant Certification or ability to obtain within 90 days of hire date
