Job Summary
The Sales Manager will proactively solicit potential clients for theatre/venue space, Vouchers, BackLot space, Popcorn truck, food and beverage services, and unique event options, and will develop and execute sales plans to meet or exceed goals. Responsibilities include planning and executing solicitation (25% proactive, 75% reactive), attending tradeshow/networking events, generating proposals/presentations to decision makers, coordinating with operations/finance/IT teams for event needs, quoting rates and preparing contracts, and maintaining CRM data while traveling up to 25% to local customer/theatre locations. Must leverage industry knowledge of hospitality/group/catering sales and demonstrate strong communication, analytical, and closing skills, with proficiency in MS Office and CRM tools; a Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of experience are required.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree
- 5+ years’ experience in hospitality/group/catering sales, or a related sales management function
- Proven track record of pipeline development and closing sales
- Experience with analyzing data and delivering insights
- MS Office/CRM proficiency (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint; CRM experience is a plus)
