Job Summary
The ProSales Associate will participate in Herc Rentals’ Black and Gold Academy—a structured sales training and development program designed to prepare individuals for placement into a Territory Sales Representative role after 12 months. Responsibilities include shadowing Territory Sales Representatives in the field, visiting customer job sites, assisting with customer outreach and lead generation to support revenue growth, and gaining exposure to branch operations and specialty segments. The program emphasizes learning the full product/service portfolio, account management, territory planning, and customer engagement, with a path to future advancement into outside sales and sales leadership. Ideal candidates are early career professionals with a drive to build a long-term sales career, with 0–5 years of sales or relevant customer-facing experience, a valid class 5 driver’s license (driver’s abstract required), and a willingness to relocate or work across multiple locations.
Required Qualifications
- 0–5 years of sales experience or relevant customer facing experience
- Must have valid class 5 driver’s license
- A recent driver’s abstract will be required
- A keen interest in advancing into a career of outside sales
