Job Summary
Sell product lines to residential and light commercial accounts as a Sales Consultant; identify prospective customers, generate leads, conduct daily sales calls, provide proposals, generate new business, manage accounts, and meet monthly sales targets. Provide product knowledge and expertise to customers, recommend materials and services based on customers’ needs, understand the market, monitor conditions and competitors, communicate safety programs at the inception of sale by inspecting job sites, and support the customer experience from initial sale to project completion. Flexible schedule with local travel and emphasis on building trusted relationships in the construction industry.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years sales experience in building products/construction
- Minimum of 18 years of age
- If operating a vehicle for company purposes, a valid driver's license is required
