Job Summary
Develop new business, penetrate existing accounts, and minimize lost business to achieve profitable sales growth within the Wentzville, Lake St. Louis, O'Fallon, and St. Peters, MO territory. Research customer needs to develop product mixes, evaluate market trends, and recommend solutions while answering inquiries on pricing, availability, and product use. Manage deliveries, troubleshoot order issues, and collect accounts receivable based on approved credit terms. Drive to customer accounts, conventions, and meetings, participate in sales and district meetings, and engage in ongoing training sessions. Review daily and weekly reports on sales data and margins, perform administrative duties including budget preparation and quote generation, and assist with new employee training. Begin with the upcoming sales class on September 28th.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, Hospitality, Culinary Arts or related discipline OR HSD/GED and 3 years Restaurant Management, B2B or outside sales experience, or equivalent relatable experience including completion of the Sysco Sales Internship
- Valid driver's license with a driving record that meets company insurability standards
- Current automobile insurance with the following limits of liability: Bodily injury - $100,000 each person and $300,000 each accident; property damage - $100,000 is required
- Pass employment testing
- Must sign Sysco Protective Covenants Agreement
- Reside or willing to relocate to the geographical vicinity of territory
