Job Summary
Outside Sales Representative at Spectrum responsible for acquiring new residential customers through face-to-face interactions, conducting consultative needs analyses, presenting compelling sales proposals, and completing all required sales documentation. Drives monthly sales targets across high-speed data, mobile, landline phone and video services while spending ~90% of time outdoors. Requires travel to assigned territories, ability to work evenings/weekends, and a valid driver’s license with reliable vehicle. Opportunities include base salary plus incentives with total compensation potentially exceeding $100,000 annually. Must be able to work lawfully in the U.S. without employment-based immigration sponsorship now or in the future. Spectrum is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent work experience
- Ability to read, write, speak and understand English
- Engaging interpersonal skills
- Ability to listen, formulate needs based sales strategies, and articulate pitches
- A passion to succeed and strong personal drive to sell
- Ability to travel to and from assigned territories and company facilities
- Familiarity with computer operating systems and software applications
- Must be able to work evenings and weekends, and as business needs dictate
- Ability to work independently with little or no supervision
- A valid driver’s license, car insurance, a satisfactory driving record, and the use of a reliable personal vehicle
