Job Summary
Acquire new residential customers by visiting assigned leads and introducing Spectrum’s offerings. Conduct consultative needs analyses to tailor product recommendations for each prospective customer. Present compelling sales proposals that align with customer needs and highlight Spectrum’s solutions. Complete all required sales documentation accurately, including dispositioning, order entry and reporting. Participate actively in sales meetings and training sessions to support team goals and professional development. Achieve monthly sales targets across high-speed data, mobile, landline phone and video services. Monitor competitors’ activities within your territory and communicate relevant information to your manager. Working 90% outdoors in all seasons with minimal time in an office, and travel to and from assigned territories. Ability to travel to and work in local communities; must be able to lift 10-20 pounds. This role emphasizes face-to-face engagement with residential customers and requires a strong drive to succeed, excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and a willingness to work non-traditional hours to maximize customer contact.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent work experience
- A valid driver’s license, car insurance, a satisfactory driving record, and the use of a reliable personal vehicle
- Ability to travel (including during inclement weather) to and from assigned territories and company facilities
- Engaging interpersonal skills
- Ability to read, write, speak and understand English language
- Must be able to work evenings and weekends, and as business needs dictate to maximize prospective customer contact
