Job Summary
Develop relationships and expand customer pipelines by prospecting within the defined territory to increase sales and profit. Create customer-specific proposals based on detailed needs analysis while conducting market research to produce competitive comparisons. Maintain sales management information for all customers in the assigned territory and monitor trends in customer business activities to provide timely communication to management. Conduct new equipment field demonstrations and maintain current knowledge of used equipment values for proper trading evaluations. Keep abreast of financing options to assist customers with securing purchases of new and used goods, and attend applicable sales training events and seminars. Requires at least three years of prior outside sales experience, a valid driver's license, and willingness to travel across the territory.
Required Qualifications

- Experience developing and winning new business in a highly competitive environment
- Self-driven to actively prospect, cultivate and close new business opportunities using effective questioning skills to tailor solution benefits to meet prospect needs
- Exceptional communication and sales presentation skills
- Relates well to all kinds of people and easily builds trusting relationships
- Unwavering integrity and strong work ethic
- Willingness to travel across the assigned sales territory to grow business relationships
- Proficiency and knowledge of Microsoft Office products
- Valid driver's license and a safe driving record
- Ability to meet physical demands and duration of physical exertion generally required to perform tasks in support of all job functions, for example - sitting, standing, walking, lifting, carrying, reaching, pushing, and pulling
- High school diploma or equivalent required
Desired Qualifications
- Previous sales knowledge and experience with agricultural equipment and outdoor power equipment strongly preferred
