Job Summary
Outside sales representative for Sysco in the Shelby territory, promoting products and services to new and existing accounts. Build relationships, research customer needs, and develop product/service mixes to meet business goals. Stay informed on market conditions, product innovations, and competitor offerings; provide product information and practical training to customer personnel. Manage orders, collections, and deliveries; support district meetings and ongoing training. Travel up to 75% to customer accounts, conventions, and company meetings; participate in promotions, customer visits, and events. Requires flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays; strong MS Office and communication skills; valid driver’s license and insurability. Reside or relocate to the territory vicinity.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, Hospitality, Culinary Arts or related discipline OR HSD/GED and 3 years Restaurant Management, B2B or outside sales experience, or equivalent relatable experience including completion of the Sysco Sales Internship.
