Job Summary
Acquire new credit card customers at retail locations while engaging and educating shoppers to maximize sales and enhance the in-store experience. Communicate brand information, answer inquiries, and meet daily and monthly sales targets by working independently or within a team. Follow operations, theft, fraud, health, and safety policies outlined in the procedures manual. Must be comfortable working in both indoor and outdoor environments, standing for extended periods, and shifting between evenings and weekends based on business needs. Report to a Field Sales Manager.
Required Qualifications
- Proven clear understanding of sales and customer service fundamentals
- Must have reliable transportation
- Professional, fun, energetic and have great communication skills - verbal and written
- A positive and enthusiastic attitude with a willingness to learn
- Organized and quick thinking with the ability to problem solve
- The ability to absorb, understand and communicate brand and product information effectively to consumers
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time
- Motivated to provide exceptional customer service
- Be motivated to work in a dynamic and fast paced team environment
- Willing to learn and interested in continuous training and development
- Open, available, and flexible to work a variety of shifts/hours (evenings and weekends based on business needs)
- Be willing to work at various retail locations if required
- Must be comfortable working independently and in a team environment
- Must be comfortable working in both and indoor and outdoor environment
- Be 18 years of age or older
- Pass a criminal record check as a requirement of employment
- Pass a driver's abstract check as a requirement of employment, if applicable to the program/event
Desired Qualifications
- 1-2 years previous sales experience in a commission environment an asset
- Previous credit card sales experience preferred but not mandatory
