Job Summary
Sales Representative with Samuels Seafood seeks to build relationships with chefs and hospitality professionals, inheriting an established portfolio of accounts and expanding business within a territory. Responsibilities include developing relationships with customers, understanding needs to offer tailored product solutions, collaborating with chefs, identifying new opportunities, communicating pricing and product information, staying current on industry trends, and coordinating with internal teams for timely order fulfillment. Emphasis on food knowledge, hospitality operations, strong communication and presentation skills, independence and teamwork, and ongoing training and career development.
Required Qualifications
- Strong food knowledge and familiarity with restaurant and/or hotel operations
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Self-motivated, enthusiastic, and detail-oriented
- Tenacious yet professional approach to sales and customer service
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and general computer skills
- Previous sales experience is a plus, but not required
