Job Summary
Sales Representative for the Virginia SMA at Rogers Group, responsible for selling and marketing construction aggregates in the Harrisonburg, VA area. Lead safety, quality, and revenue generation across existing and new operations. Build and maintain relationships through face-to-face meetings, phone calls, and customer contact; provide quotes for materials and services; input and manage customer data in Salesforce; discuss pricing with management; collaborate with Plant Manager, QA/QC, CSR, and other teams; assist in annual sales budgeting and participate in local business groups and trade associations. Requires understanding of products and markets, strong communication, planning, and administrative skills, with occasional nights, weekends, and travel.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in related field or equivalent experience
- Experience in the aggregate/construction industry (2+ years preferred)
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
- Occasional nights, weekends and overnight travel
