Job Summary
SALES REPRESENTATIVE responsible for understanding customer needs, presenting demos, and leading through implementation and ongoing customer success. Drive quarterly and annual objectives, respond to RFPs, and collaborate with a team to solve technical problems in varied environments. Requires 3+ years in a customer-facing role (sales, sales engineering, consulting, product management/marketing, training), a B.S. in Computer Science or Engineering, price negotiation experience, knowledge of relational databases and web technology, strong communication, and travel up to 50%. Compensation includes a base salary in the $60K–$80K range plus commissions; benefits include health care, 401k, life insurance, PTO, training and development. Location: Colorado Springs, CO; Job Type: Permanent, Full Time.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in a customer-facing role: sales, sales engineer, consulting, product management/marketing, training
- B.S. degree in Computer Science or Engineering with extracurricular activities and membership in organizations that provide experience giving presentations to groups
- Ability to travel domestically 50%
- Knowledge of related applications, relational databases and web technology
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Effective oral, written, and presentation communication skills, to interact effectively with executives
