Sales Representative - Packaging

Job Summary
Sell and promote Veritiv packaging products and value-added services to meet or exceed individual and company goals in an established territory. Develop and implement a customer contact plan to communicate product launches and engage potential customers in relevant sales campaigns; identify opportunities and present Veritiv solutions that meet customer needs; create custom presentations and business reviews; utilize CRM to schedule follow-up actions and record information; build a personal network and represent the organization at business sector events; act as first point of contact for customer inquiries and complaints and strive for timely resolutions; collaborate with other sales representatives to expand knowledge and promote solutions; leverage sales technology to meet strategic account planning objectives and maximize growth; participate in training and development programs. 25% travel required; experience with packaging, Salesforce/CRM preferred; strong communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills; 5-10 years related experience; bachelor’s degree preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree preferred
- 5-10 years related job experience
- Experience with Salesforce.com or other CRM preferred
- Strong verbal, written, people and diplomacy skills
- Ability to persuade, negotiate and sell
- Territory sales or account management experience preferred
