Job Summary
Drive Oracle Cloud adoption in India by targeting enterprise customers across distributed, public, and private cloud environments. Lead hunter/challenger-style sales to open new markets, develop territories, and grow existing accounts, delivering cloud solutions that solve business challenges and drive measurable outcomes. Engage with C-suite, engineering, and DevOps stakeholders, articulate OCI and cloud platform benefits, manage complex sales cycles from prospecting to closing, and foster long-term partnerships and contract renewals. Travel is required to support customer engagements and ensure aligned cloud adoption strategies across Oracle products, including OCI, IaaS, and PaaS offerings.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of direct sales or overlay sales experience within cloud/ICT/enterprise software
- Proven track record selling cloud technologies, databases, data management solutions, AI/ML technologies (including Generative AI) or related offerings
- Strong ability to understand customer needs and build relationships with stakeholders
- Solid understanding of cloud infrastructure (IaaS) and platform services (PaaS)
- Familiarity with Oracle OCI, AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud platforms
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills for technical and business decision-makers
- Demonstrated success in managing complex sales cycles from prospecting to closing and achieving targets
- Willingness to travel as required by role
- Growth mindset and teamwork across internal/external stakeholders
