Job Summary
Sales Representative responsible for delivering revenue growth within an assigned territory by positioning Flexsteel products across retail partners, negotiating with customers, developing relationships to generate repeat business, forecasting revenue, and coordinating with account management, inside sales, and field teams. Role involves traveling to meet customers, supporting weekend selling efforts with a Key Account, and ensuring responsive service through collaboration with Customer Care. Requires Bachelor’s degree in Sales/Marketing (or equivalent experience), substantial furniture-industry sales experience, strong communication skills, and proficiency with Microsoft Office; significant travel is anticipated.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree field of Sales or Marketing, or an acceptable combination of education and experience
- Significant level of relevant work experience required
- 5 years of furniture industry specific experience preferred
- Experience as a sales representative and other sales support function desirable
- Experience in strategy, management/budget holding, product, beneficial
- Significant travel may be required
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills required
- Excellent customer service skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite of products
