Job Summary
Orthopaedic Instruments Sales Representative in Miami, FL region promoting Stryker Orthopaedic Instruments to customers. You will conduct product evaluations in OR and office settings, demonstrate the value of products, track territory progress, communicate wins to the Regional Manager, and solve product problems while educating doctors, nurses and staff on proper use and maintenance. The role emphasizes field-based sales with strong customer service, relationship-building, and the ability to close profitable business and exceed goals. You will work in a fast-paced environment, manage time and projects with minimal supervision, and travel to customer sites as needed. This position includes in-depth product knowledge, clinical collaboration, and the ability to present to groups while maintaining high ethical standards. Stryker offers in-house product training and field sales training; the role is 100% commission-based with bonuses and benefits; travel approximately 30%.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years outside sales experience (medical-related fields or B2B sales preferred) OR Bachelor's Degree with at least 2+ years outside sales experience
- Valid driver’s license and ability to drive an automobile
- Travel requirement: Approximately 20% travel
- Ability to communicate/present to large groups
- Strong interpersonal and written/oral communication skills
- Ability to manage time, projects, and confidential records
- Ability to work with minimal supervision and prioritize work
- Physically capable of medium work (exert up to 50 pounds occasionally)
- Ability to demonstrate products and educate clinicians on use and maintenance
- Ethics and integrity in a competitive environment
