Job Summary

Manage territory base business and growth by initiating, supporting, and developing strategic implanting centers and key referral networks. Act as the primary account contact for assigned territory customers, handling account-level reimbursement responsibility and coordinating support activities with distribution alliances. Sell implantable devices for pain therapies to physicians, institutions, payors, and medical staff while providing product technical support and analyzing sales trends. Ensure personal understanding of quality policies and follow all work procedures to maintain compliance. This is a field-based role requiring a valid driver's license, active vehicle insurance, and frequent travel to customer clinics, hospitals, and offsite meetings. Candidates must reside within the Portsmouth, NH territory.

Required Qualifications

  • High School Diploma (or equivalent) and 8+ years of relevant sales, clinical, or related experience in medical device, Medtech, healthcare or life sciences
  • Associates Degree and 6+ years of relevant sales, clinical, or related experience in medical device, Medtech, healthcare or life sciences
  • Bachelor's Degree and 4+ years of relevant sales, clinical, or related experience in medical device, Medtech, healthcare or life sciences
  • Must have a valid driver's license
  • Active vehicle insurance policy
  • Unrestricted U.S. work authorization at the time of hire and for the duration of employment

Desired Qualifications

  • Solid knowledge of the Reimbursement climate
  • Experience call on physicians in one or more of the following or related referral accounts – Neurology, Physiatrist, Oncology, Internal Medicine, or Primary Care Physician/GP
  • Minimum of 1 year referral and therapy development
  • Experience with surgeons
  • Experience in developing new, innovative markets
  • Experience in making multiple referral calls on a daily basis
  • Familiarity with the O.R.
  • Solid job skills in business planning/consulting and territory financial analysis
  • Preferred knowledge of managed care
  • Experience / knowledge of Physiology/clinical therapies
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, negotiation skills
  • Team oriented
  • Conceptual/consultative sales skills
  • Understanding of all quality policy/system items that are personally applicable
  • Ability to follow all work/quality procedures to ensure quality system compliance and high quality work
  • Preference will be given to internal candidates who are already working within the district
