Job Summary
Sales Representative I at Medtronic responsible for promoting and selling medical devices within an assigned geographic area and/or specific accounts, building and strengthening long-term relationships with distributors and healthcare professionals, pursuing leads, assessing customer needs, providing product services, educating customers about products, conducting market research, and implementing market development plans. The role emphasizes routine field-based sales activities, attainment of sales targets, development of new and existing accounts, and collaboration with internal teams (R&D, Operations, Marketing) to communicate customer feedback and drive product improvements. Entry-level sales professional with potential to manage accounts or lead small teams, requiring effective communication, negotiation, and presentations to close sales across smaller, less complex accounts.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma (or equivalent) AND 4+ years experience OR Associate’s Degree AND 2+ years experience OR Bachelor’s Degree *Relevant sales, clinical, or related experience in medical devices, medtech, healthcare, or life sciences.
