Job Summary
Prospect and generate leads through various methods, converting company-provided leads into sales for residential and commercial markets in Fresno, Merced, Clovis, and Atwater. Meet with homeowners and business owners to custom-design security solutions, cross-sell, and up-sell products while ensuring all paperwork is completed accurately. Collaborate with the Operations Department and Sales Assistant to schedule installations and utilize CRM software to generate bids. Follow up with customers to ensure satisfaction and work all referral leads from satisfied clients. Enter customer data and update changes in the database.
Required Qualifications
- High school degree or equivalent
- Must be a people-person
- Experience in Outside Sales
- Excellent in communication and the art of negotiation
- Effective in time and activity management
- Motivated, self-starter who is persistent and will not quit when you hear the word "No"
- Able to be a creative thinker to provide best possible solutions for your customers
- Willing to stay current on the latest technologies in the Security Industry, including Home Automation, Cellular Communication, Surveillance Cameras, Smartphone Control, etc.
- Must have a valid CA drivers' license
- Must have reliable transportation with adequate insurance
- Must be able to pass a background check with Live Scan
- Must be able to work a full-time, but flexible, schedule
- Available for local travel, possibly nights and weekends to accommodate the prospective customers' availability
- Basic working knowledge of Word and Excel
- 1 year Outside Sales experience
- Must have a valid driver's license
Desired Qualifications
- Any business-to-business sales experience is a plus
- Experience with MS Word, Excel, Outlook, Android and iOS is a plus
- An aptitude for electronics is a plus
