Job Summary
Develop and grow sales across Ready mix concrete & Asphalt within assigned territory (Chautauqua, Cattaraugus, Erie Counties); build relationships with contractors, developers, municipalities, and other key customers; identify new business opportunities and drive market share growth through proactive outreach and customer engagement; collaborate with operations, dispatch, and quality control to ensure accurate order fulfillment, pricing alignment, and high customer satisfaction; monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs to inform sales strategies and achieve targets; follow Heidelberg safety procedures on customer job sites and throughout Heidelberg network of locations; regular travel throughout the assigned territory is expected, with exposure to active construction environments.
Required Qualifications
- Demonstrated ability to build trusted customer relationships and drive revenue growth in a competitive market
- Strong communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills with a customer-focused mindset
- Capability to manage multiple priorities, analyze sales data, and adapt strategies to meet business goals
- Knowledge of construction materials, industry practices, or related markets is preferred
- Self-motivated, organized, and able to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment
