Job Summary
As our Sales Representative, you will work with existing customers and develop new business relationships within your assigned territory to sell new and used forklifts and other material handling equipment. You will maintain and strengthen market share, build proposals and quotations for current and prospective customers, and provide management with reports on customer needs, competitive activity, and opportunities for new services. You will travel throughout the North Dakota/Moorhead footprint (up to 80% annually), demonstrate products, promote Yale and Hyster lines, and collaborate with Business Development Representatives and Sales Coordinators to ensure high levels of customer service. The role requires strong Microsoft Office skills, outstanding communication, organizational abilities, and the capacity to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment, while meeting deadlines and maintaining confidentiality. Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- 2+ years forklift sales experience preferred
- 3+ years outside B2B sales experience required
- Knowledge of forklift/heavy equipment industry
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Travel throughout assigned territory and/or footprint; 80% annually
