Job Summary
Sales Representative at DART in Dallas, TX, responsible for engaging decision-makers across business, educational, and organizational customers to attract new customers to DART’s transportation services. Responsibilities include targeting and prospecting; delivering presentations to educate and convert customers; recruiting new riders from client organizations; training client transportation coordinators; collaborating with Marketing and other departments; meeting monthly, quarterly, and annual budget goals; and performing cross-functional administrative duties. Requires a Bachelor's degree and 2 years of sales/business development experience, proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM software, strong communication and relationship-building skills, and the ability to manage time effectively and adapt to a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in a Business Administration, Marketing, Sales or related field
- Two (2) years of sales and business development experience in a fast-paced, high growth, rapidly-changing culture and environment
- High level of proficiency with Microsoft Office software (especially Word, Excel and PowerPoint) and ability to learn CRM management software programs
- Ability to be dedicated to meeting the expectations and requirements of internal and external customers
- Ability to write clearly and succinctly in a variety of communication settings and styles
- Ability to pick up on technical things quickly
- Able to learn new industry, company, product, or technical knowledge
