Job Summary
Sales Representative in the beer, wine and spirits industry responsible for cultivating and growing account relationships in the San Francisco Peninsula. Builds routes, analyzes accounts, delivers professional sales presentations, maintains product levels, educates staff, manages receivables, handles customer issues, and drives achievement of sales objectives across supplier brands. Requires a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to travel to customer locations; emphasizes relationship-building, merchandising, and field sales execution in a fast-paced environment.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in related field and/or equivalent training and work experience
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in Sales
- Basic PC skills using MS Office and other computer programs including presentation software
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Must possess a valid Driver’s License
- Must have reliable transportation and proof of auto insurance
- Ability to multi-task, work independently and/or within a team
- Analytic and Reporting skills
- Verbal/written communication skills using diplomacy and discretion
- Physical ability to carry 45-65 pounds
- Experience in account management and merchandising
- Experience with inventory management and POS materials
- Ability to visit accounts and deliver presentations
- Drive to achieve sales objectives
- Comfort with travel to customer locations
