Job Summary
Promote and sell Stryker Communications products, including booms, lights, tables, and connected operating room solutions. Educate doctors, nurses, and staff on proper product use and maintenance while directing product evaluations in OR and office settings. Solve customer product problems expeditiously and assist in preparing trade shows and clinical meetings. Maintain regular communication with the regional manager regarding territory progress. This field-based role in Cleveland, OH, requires 2-5 years of outside sales experience and includes up to 20% overnight travel. The position offers an established rate of $96,000 plus variable commission and benefits.
Required Qualifications
- 2-5 years in an outside sales position
- medical related experience
- A minimum education level of a bachelor's degree or equivalent of five (5) years of commercial sales experience or medical field experience that includes operating room experience
- Must be able to routinely negotiate price and terms of transactions between Stryker and its customers
- Must have a fundamental understanding of all products and be able to disseminate this knowledge to the customers
- Must be able to effectively respond to customer questions and resolve challenges
- Ability to analyze and prioritize market potential based call patterns
- Excellent interpersonal, analytical, and organizational skills
- Must be able to communicate with large groups of people
- Must be able to communicate effectively via telephone and electronic means (i.e., email, text, etc.)
- Must be able to operate common office equipment (i.e., Smart phone, Tablet, Microsoft Office, Outlook)
- Medium work: Exerting up to fifty (50) pounds of force occasionally and/or up to twenty (20) pounds of force frequently to move objects
- Up to 20% overnight travel annually
- Must be able to drive an automobile
- $96,000 established rate and is eligible to earn variable commission +benefits
- Travel Percentage: 20%
- Employees and new hires in sales and field roles that require access to customer accounts as a function of the job may be required, depending on customer requirements, to obtain the COVID-19 vaccination as an essential function of their role
