Job Summary
This outside sales position requires promoting Sysco's products and services while building relationships with new and existing accounts. The role involves developing new business, managing existing accounts, providing product training, and troubleshooting issues during the order process. Candidates should possess a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in restaurant management, sales, or hospitality. Proficiency in English and Spanish is preferred, along with a valid driver's license and the ability to engage in ongoing training.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, Hospitality, Culinary Arts or related discipline OR HSD/GED and 3 years Restaurant Management, B2B or outside sales experience
- Valid driver's license with a "clean" driving record
- Current automobile insurance with specified limits
- Submit to pre-employment testing (Drug Screen, Background Check)
- Must sign Sysco Protective Covenants Agreement
- Reside or willing to relocate to the geographical vicinity of territory
Desired Qualifications
- Bi-Lingual - Spanish and English-speaking preferred
- Restaurant Management experience
- Foodservice Outside Sales experience
- Chef Experience
