Job Summary
Sales Representative to expand Bentley Truck Services, Inc.'s eastern seaboard business by keeping customers informed of new product lines and services, quoting truck sales, negotiating prices and terms, identifying prospective customers, generating leads, selling or leasing trucks, maintaining relationships, and emphasizing product features to solve customer problems. Requires strong communication, independence, detail orientation, and comfort with travel up to 60% to service a B2B customer base in commercial truck sales. Offers base pay starting at $55,000 with unlimited commission; comprehensive benefits; and an equal-opportunity environment. The role involves interacting with customers and collaborating with internal teams to ensure accurate order processing and delivery.
Required Qualifications
- 1 year of sales experience, business to business (Preferred)
- Travel up to 60% of the time within the specified territory (No overnight)
- Must possess a valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent sales and negotiation skills
- Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with clients
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
- Thorough understanding of technical or scientific products to be sold
- Organized with attention to detail
- Able to negotiate prices, terms of sales, and/or service agreements; prepares contracts and submits orders
- Collaborates with purchasing departments, managers, and other staff to ensure orders are processed accurately
- Ability to identify market trends
- Creative thinking and outside-the-box solutions
