Job Summary
Represents Florida Paints and stores to existing and prospective customers, i.e. contractors, builders, condo associations. Develops business to both existing and potential new customer base. Duties include familiarizing with products, specifying products to distributors/contractors/architects/end users, compiling leads from various sources, traveling to call on customers, demonstrating products, obtaining quotes/credit terms, estimating delivery dates, preparing reports, maintaining literature, building relationships with purchasing contacts, resolving customer problems, and assisting store manager as needed. Requirements include willingness to work all scheduled hours with overtime, industry knowledge, proven sales/results in retail/contractor segments, PC literacy, strong communication and interpersonal skills, ability to manage multiple projects, and maintaining confidentiality. Education notes High School Diploma; college degree preferred; 2-3 years outside sales experience; background check and drug test; valid driver’s license. Physical travel in vehicle, lifting up to 50-75 pounds. EEO employer. Locations listed: Lutz, FL, US.
